Ahh!  It is so so so nice to be outside shooting again and I love how long the days are now.  Is it just me or does it seem like everything bloomed and turned green almost overnight?  I am loving the green fields lately so that’s where we ended up for Sadie’s 9 month pictures…can’t believe she is 9 months old already!  She is adorable but clearly, you can see that! I love her big blue eyes and I think her parents are pretty smitten over her too!  🙂  Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!

Spring is here!  And so is Harper’s 2nd birthday so we celebrated with some outdoor photos!  It felt so good to be shooting outside again on such a beautiful, sunny day.  As a two year old, Harper is officially a little girl.  She is walking running everywhere and talking up a storm.  I feel like she went from a baby to a toddler overnight and somehow, getting cuter by the day!

After the Bahamas wedding, I couldn’t bring myself to post anything that had to do with snow so I went back to the summer archives.  We did these photos of this adorable family at Lake Harriet on a beautiful late summer day…sigh.  How many days until spring??

Brrrrrr…IT’S COLD OUT THERE!  I’m not ready for this weather yet!  Ok, rant over…  Don’t you think a cute summer family session would help you warm up!?  I thought so!  I photographed Lucy and her mom and dad a couple years ago so I was really excited to see them again AND meet the newest member of the family, Charlee!  They were a cute family of three but an even cuter family of four…agree??

The catch up blogging continues!  Next up is Sean and family!  Ummm, yeah.  He’s cute.  And so is his dog Riley.  And so is their whole family.  Agreed?!

All of the sudden, summer seems like a long time ago!  I AM going to catch up with my blogging (or at least give it my best shot) so let me bring you back to summer with this adorable family.  I had an early morning session today and though it was beautiful, my hands were freezing by the end!  Let me tell you, the Larson family was NOT freezing…It was a HOT HOT day in August but a CUTE CUTE family!

I’m all for jumping and splashing and playing during photo sessions.  But once you start, you can’t stop!  The water and splashing this year was reminiscent of this session from 2 summers ago!  I can’t believe how much these kids have grown since then…

What a joy and honor it was to photograph this adorable family at this exciting time in their lives.  I love my job!
